Big Family News!
We are Great Aunts again. Shelley (Jake's daughter) had a new baby today in DesMoines. His name is Lucas Jacob Diehl. He has a big sister Lily who is 3. Congratulations Shelley and Jesse. We hope the three Greatgrandsons will get to know each other well. Now we all three have a Grandson to brag about.
Today, Kitty was in charge of a progressive picnic at work. They gave prizes for the best homemade dish. Unfortunately our potato salad didn't win but we all had a very enjoyable lunch and tased many fine dishes. Tomorrow we are supposed to dress like our hobby so we are trying to figure out which of our numerous hobbies to choose.
We will have an update on Suzie tomorrow. She is feeling great. She did a load of laundry today and her blood report wes pretty good. Thanks to all who read our blog.

Hi All,
Thank you Kitty and Kris for setting this page up. It is a lovely Friday morning and I am just enjoying coffee and vanilla wafers. Marylou and Barb and I met for lunch to talk about our wonderful time in Clear Lake (thanks Pam) and to share our experience in pictures. Sorry Pam, we had no pictures of your "new friend" so our 1000 words had to tell the story. I'm hoping to post a picture with this.
As an update on Gordon's eye, he has sixth nerve palsy. All of his tests came back okay including the MRI. The neuro-opthamologist said this just happens sometime and 85% of the time it will clear in 18 weeks, could be a long summer for him. I suggest that you don't drive in the Omaha area.
Well, I hope I can post this and am thinking of all of you. Congrats on the new great nephew Kitty and Kris. Hope your days continue to go well Suzie.

Nice note Ruth glad Gordon's going to be OK. We're glad we won't be driving in Omaha soon.
